How to Create Space for the Things you Want

I’m exhausted! Today we cleaned for half the day in our new house and let me tell you, it feels so good! The hard work paid off, big time.

For the past month, I have been spending serious time cleaning, clearing and completing. While most people believe in New Year Resolutions and setting intentions, January is still winter, the time for self-reflection and hibernation. Which means there may still be stuff to clear out to make room for the new.

Watch today’s video about the cleaning out process:

ENGAGE, leave a comment: What room do you feel you can clean out? What else needs completion from 2012? Tell us what feels like it is still in the way that if cleared out would provide space for your deepest desires to flow through.

How to Overcome Overwhelm

Last night, we had our Tribal Truth gathering and we poked fun at the fact that I am a doer. I’m a producer. We laughed about my intentionality in how I walk and even brush my teeth. I can be super focused in the midst of chaos. And yet, this “doing” is coming from a place of over-compensating for my feeling of unworthiness.

I AM ENOUGH!

Just me simply being is enough. I don’t have to do anything.

Getting grounded in this last night, I was able to see a situation much clear this morning and answer the question: How do I overcome overwhelm with a project that is starting to feel like a burden?

I had a conversation with two women I’m partnering with about accountability and responsibility that left us all feeling pumped up and inspired.Watch the video to learn how to apply this to your own life:

Turning Competition into Collaboration

So many people are actually getting the power of collaboration … I’m seeing partnerships forming everywhere around me!

And yet, it is a scary thing and very difficult because most people are struggling to get their basic needs met and when you partner, you have to take care of both yourself and the other person.

Not only that, but the “Am I good enough?” question surfaces every time.

I personally have had this fear and scarcity come up in some recent collaborations. I know how it feels.

In today’s video, I talk about a conversation I had today about this and what I did to overcome it.

Healing the Masculine

Inspired action.

I shot the video and realized it was not in alignment with the challenge: to share my vulnerability and be transparent in my process. Redo, bring out my feelings, thought process, stories. That’s what this is about. Embodied work, walking the walk, not “talking about.”

Takeaways from today’s video:

1) Tap into your story and feel it. Notice where you use “you” language instead of “I”. Notice where you describe the situation vs. really embodying the emotions. Go deeper when expressing yourself. This takes awareness.

2) How to get into divine feminine flow. How to go through life with grace and ease. I talk about today’s process of taking inspired action.

3) Integration is the theme of this journey. Co-creation is integration. How do we find balance within ourselves and create harmony in our environments? How do we incorporate all parts of ourselves?

ENGAGE, leave a comment: your experience is just as valuable as mine. This video challenge is a co-creation, where you become an active participant. What is your relationship with the masculine? What is opening up for you?

47 Day Video Journey

Rebirth. Day 1. Like a butterfly coming out of the cocoon.

The past month I have been in transition; I’ve experienced what they say are the top 3 most difficult circumstances: death, divorce and moving.

And yet here I am, feeling grounded and centered with a deeper knowing of what I’m here for. I am here to self-realize and empower others to do the same.

How do you turn adversity, loss and obstacles into your greatest lesson and gift?

That’s what The Art of Co-Creative Leadership video challenge is all about.

For the next 6+ weeks leading up to my 33rd birthday, I will be documenting my process on video: how I have gotten to where I am today and what I am creating.
