my Ted talk: how to empower the next generation of girls

One of my intentions for 2015 is to speak on a Tedx stage. If you haven’t heard of Ted, it is one of the premier stages for change agents to present their big ideas to the world.

Today, I shot a 2 minute “informal” video to apply to speak at a local Tedx event and it was a very powerful experience.

It reconnected me with my deeper WHY. The reason I do what I do in empowering, inspiring and teaching women how to lead circle.

It’s for our girls.

As a new mom, I am clear that my purpose in empowering feminine leadership is so that my daughter knows what it means to be a powerful woman. Bringing women together in sisterhood so that my daughter can be in a world where women support each other.

Everything I do now has a new context: to be a role model for my daughter and to teach other women how to be powerful role models for their daughters.

For all little girls around the world to have positive, healthy role models of what it means to be a woman.

Now the intention is out there and I’m crafting my talk to bring circle to a mainstream audience so every woman has the opportunity to experience real sisterhood support in her life and knows how to be a feminine leader for herself, her family and her community.
